Parma
Parma, as many other cities in Italy, recently underwent a process of multiculturalization
which involved both society and the urban morphology. The city became in fact a constellation of new gathering spaces that came to reflect this new and expanded society.
With this reportage, the aim is to narrate this changed image of the city, to represent the potentialities raised from a more diverse approach to the urban matter. These new actors who came in play not only are creators of new spaces, but also helped to re-activate a physical and social network within the existing texture. To collect and narrate the stories of these new citizens aims to awaken a look on the offered possibilities by a changed urban-scape. The role of social photography then overpasses mere information, to become an active promoter of a social view.
